Tour 1 - Meat Processing

Need a tag line…

Wednesday, 1 July 2020 – 7.30am to 2pm : : This event is hosted by the JBS Brooklyn and SCOTTs Technology.
Delegates will get the opportunity to experience first hand at JBS Brooklyn the DEXA and Lamb Robotics heard about at previous LambEx conferences. The X-Ray Primal System creates a 3D map of the bones within the carcass. This is used to guide the primal cutter with an accuracy far greater than human capabilities. The x-ray data is also provided to all downstream boning room modules. The X-Ray System provides the correct height and angle measurements for each cut. This provides a precise cut location at the correct angle and the dual rotating knife blades ensure a cleaner, more accurate cut.

Scott Automation and Robotics specialises in the design and manufacture of automated production and robotic processing machinery that improves productivity, reliability, yield, and safety for manufacturers and processors in the meat and process industries. Scott is widely recognised as a world-class builder of advanced automation systems, particularly for the appliance, meat processing, mining, materials handling and industrial automation industries globally.
